Being invited to create and show a new body of work in 2013, I visited Norsk Trikotasjemuseum in Salhus last week for an initial meeting and introduction to the building and facilities. Almost half of the knitting machines are still functioning, and I’m planning to make use of them….Later this year, I will return to Bergen for a research period at the archives and pattern and material collections of the museum.
