We arrived well in Berlin at 15th of April. The warm springtime weather made it easy to adapt in the different climate of Germany. Six weeks later, Lisha Li from Beijing arrived in Berlin to join the second part of our art project „Pattern & Signs“. She stays in my home until middle of June. I know Lisha from another project. She is a young and very unconventional and open minded woman. It is always nice to be in company with her, also to look at the own culture and answer her questions. Now she is still here for more than one week. We made the workshop „Pattern + Signs in daily life“ together. This happened with 12 people from the Menzel Oberschule (highschool) in Berlin Moabit. It was a good experience for both of us and hopefully also for the students.
On sunday, we explored the town together.
Today we will celebrate the opening of our exhibition „Pattern & Signs“ in the Gallery Nord, Turmstr. 75 in Berlin Moabit. And we will have meetings with the other artists, like Varsha Nair, Jerome Ming, Petra Jung, Katharina Koch, Joanne Richardson and Doris Hinzen-Röhrig in the next week.
