Back in Munich – No time for jetlag

There is so much I want to do, I have to do.

On Feb 1 I held a workshop in my studio for a team from BMW about creativity. There are a lot of ideas in conceptual art works which can inspire everybody to new ideas. The group decided to work with me for one day every two or three month this year.

In 2011 I made a lot of new works, but not much documentation of it. That is my job now. Cut viewing copies, reorganise my website, choose which fotos to use for my documentations … I would like to start with new projects, but I decided, that it is important to do the documentation first.

So it is easy to describe the last weeks and the weeks coming: I spend my days working in my studio in Munich.

About Birthe Blauth

The conceptual video works and installations explore the conflict between the individual stands and his limitations. I explore the subjective perceiption and thinking and the effort individuals undertake to relate themselves to their surroundings. How do biological and social limitations and rules force us into certain schemes? And what do these schemes look like and how can they change? Connected to this field I am thinking about how we perceive our live, the passing of time and our transience. www.bblauth.de
